When does my rental time start and stop?

Equipment:
Your rental time starts when the contract is opened. Your time stops when the contract is checked in by your rental agent.
Delivered equipment must be called off rent by the customer.  Please do not assume that we will automatically make the pick up.

Party Rentals:
Most party items are rented on a "per event" basis.  Typically, this is from Friday - Monday.
Food concession machines, moon bounces and some other items are rented on a per day basis.

Is a "day" rental for 24 hours?
Yes. With the exception of truck rentals and towed equipment, our "day" rate refers to a 24 hour day.
Towed equipment can be picked up anytime after 7:30 am and must be returned by 8 am the following morning.
On metered construction equipment, you are allowed 8 clock hours per 24 hour period or 40 hours per week.
Equipment rented for 2 or 4 hour rentals must be rented and returned same day. (overnight rate does not apply)
Overnight rentals (when available) may be picked up at end of day and returned at opening of business the next day.
For most party equipment, Friday to Monday is equal to one "day" rental.

What if I put more than 8 hours on your equip. but return it within 24 hours?

If you go over the 8 hours within a 24 hour period you will be charged 1/8 of the daily rate per hour or part thereof.

Yes. Depending on the item, our rates vary from half-day to monthly rental periods.
On most equipment a weekly rental is equal to approximately 4 days, and a month is equal to approximately 3 weeks.
For most party equipment, Friday to Monday is equal to one "day" rental.

Yes, delivery is available to most local areas.  There is a charge based on the particular order and the distance to be traveled.
Standard delivery rates are to the front door.  There will be additional charges for backyard or up/down stairs.

Your sales associate will be happy to provide you with a quote.

Picking Up & Loading Unloading / Policy
We strongly suggest that you only pick up items that you are comfortable transporting in your personal vehicle.
Should you decide to pick up your item(s) yourself we will gladly assist you with the loading or unloading of your vehicle however we cannot assume liability for any damage that may occur while doing so.

Can I reserve an item?
Yes. We recommend reserving equipment ahead of time as the best way of insuring availability when you need the equipment.
Some items such as linens, party canopies and moonwalks require a deposit for reservation.

How far ahead must I reserve an item?
The best suggestion is to reserve what you need as soon as you know you will need it (especially party items).
Availability varies widely day of the week, season and weather. No single time is appropriate for everything.

What is your cancellation policy?
EQUIPMENT:
You may cancel your order any time with the exception of special orders and scheduled deliveries.
In cases where a deposit was required to make the reservation, the deposit will be refunded if the order is canceled within the allowed cancellation period.
Notification as soon as possible is, of course, greatly appreciated since that will make the item available to another customer.
We would much rather have you call to cancel a rental instead of just not showing up for it.

PARTY ITEMS:
When you  make your reservation, we are holding the items out of stock for your date.  We cannot book these items while you have them reserved.
Party orders require a 50% non-refundable deposit.  Orders cancelled up to 48 hours in advance forfeit deposit.
Orders cancelled within 48 hours of reservation date will be charged in full.

Can you set up the equipment for me?
Our quoted delivery rates do not include set up or take down.  If desired, we would be happy to make arrangements.
Arrangements must be made prior to the delivery and/or pickup, with a special quoted charge.

I see a Damage Waiver on my contract. What is that?
There is a 10% Damage waiver automatically applied to all rental contracts excluding truck rentals.

With the Damage Waiver, as specified, subject to the limitations and exclusions below, Pioneer Rentals Inc. agrees to modify the terms of this contract and relieve you of any liability for accidental damage to the rented item(s) on this contract, and for loss due to fire, collision, sandstorm, upset, and riot.
We exclude from this waiver, however, any loss or damage due to your failure to care for the rental item(s) as a prudent person would his/her own property, such as proper lubrication.
Damage to tires and tubes due to blow out, cuts, bruises, road hazards, or other causes inherent in the use of the item(s) is excluded.
If ANY loss tends to indicate a crime may have been committed, a further condition of this waiver is that you must file a report to the proper law enforcement authorities and furnish us with a copy.
